Terms of Use

The short version. Tap is a communication aid, provided as-is. It is a tool to help children communicate — it is not a medical device and does not replace professional speech, language, or medical care. Use it as one helpful part of a child's support.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Tap — Talk with Pictures ("the App"), published by Clover Media LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
Free trial and purchase
The App is free to try for a limited trial period during which its features are unlocked. After the trial, continued use requires a one-time purchase ("Tap Lifetime"), which unlocks the App on your Apple Account. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
Not medical or professional advice
The App is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) aid intended to support communication. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional evaluation or treatment by a speech-language pathologist, physician, therapist, or other qualified professional. You are responsible for how the App is used with a child, and for seeking appropriate professional care.
Your content
You may add your own photos and words to create custom cards. You are responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to use it. Custom content is stored on your device; we do not access it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute it except as permitted by law, or to use it in any unlawful manner.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular communication need.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clover Media LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
Third-party content
The App includes picture symbols from open symbol sets used under their respective licenses, with attribution provided within the App. Those symbols remain the property of their creators.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the date above when we do.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Clover Media LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
